The Worlds Most awarded Window Film
Gold Plus Global Green Tag Certification
Filmscene are Approved Installers
Revolutionary glass insulation coating transforming poorly insulated windows into highly energy efficient windows.
In fact EnerLogic window films have the same thermal performance to that of standard double-glazing or Low E glass, but at a significantly lower cost to glass replacement.
Both EnerLogic 35 and Enerlogic 70 have both gained an international Gold Plus Green Tag Certification for outstanding eco-friendly performance, along with a third party LCA verification.
Furthermore, EnerLogic won the 2012 Australian Business Award for Product Innovation and Environmental Sustainability.
EnerLogic performs 4 times better than regular or standard solar window films, placing itself way ahead of other eco-friendly window films in our market. In addition to keeping out huge amounts of solar heat, its primary benefit is maximising heat retenti delivering appreciable energy savings and value for money.
EnerLogic also compares favorably to other popular energy-saving measures, both in terms of energy efficiency and cost saving.
In fact, it outperforms most of these in terms of simple payback.
NEW ZEALAND HOME EXAMPLE
In a typical 4-bedroom home, to remove existing inefficient single glazing and replace with clear double glazed windows would cost around $25,000. To install EnerLogic window film on all the same inefficient single glazed windows in that same home, would be about $7,000. That’s almost a quarter of the price. Prices indicated are based on the average cost to install EnerLogic 35.
As I’d moved to Canada (from NZ), I really wondered if Enerlogic would also work over there in such a cold climate. We found a local supplier in Alberta and tried the film on the master bedroom sliding window as there was quite a bit of cold coming through this large piece of glass! When I put my hand near the window in the master bedroom, it was much warmer than the air near the window in the adjoining bedroom, which was on the same side of the house.
Due to the performance of this film, we had every window in the house done. Even though I liked the keeping out the cold factor, I actually ended up liking the product more for keeping the heat out in the summer and also for daytime privacy - no need to shut the curtains! Now that I’m back in NZ, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this product over here as well.
